Who are these AFROmedia people?

We're a family of web reliant individuals, who see the internet as a tool that you have to use to get by in today's world. We are knowledge seekers, and find it a little sad when companies with huge amounts of potential for sharing their expertise with the world, miss out on doing so with the rest of us.

There are 2 of us so far, a husband and wife team, bringing up 3 little computer friendly children, who at the ages of 1, 6 and 9 know more on the computer scene than a lot of adults we know. The future generation of AFROmedia is in training, so without much doubt, they will be joining our team in years to come.

lantzafroLantz- A web addict at the very least, but a passion for what the internet has to offer, and uses it every chance he gets. On choosing destinations, the first consideration is "Do they have internet connection?" He is a peoples person, and loves the interaction with the clients, who inevitably become friends. He is fluent in both the langauges of 0's and 1's, and what the rest of us speak, verbal communication, and is able to effectively translate one to the other. He takes the ideas, and makes them concrete. And is open to new ideas and different points of view. Patience, I would have to say, is one of his most rewarding quialities. Without it there may be more bodies floating down the warm Mozambican current. (Oops, I think we may have been watching a tad too much Dexter!)

nolaafroNola- The introverted media side, to Lantz's extroverted AFRO. More concern is directed to the content and quality of the site, than the marketing side of things. She is passionate about messages and intent, and in this is able to see the big picture, while finely tuning the small one. Information and knowledge are the motivation for her dedication. Much time is spent on planning, so that when it comes to executing, all runs smoothly. Nola is the fire beneath Lantz's somewhat relaxed behind. Being a non-conformist, she questions the reasons for what people choose, constantly asking "Why, why, why?" There is always a good reason for making the choices we do, and that is where she targets, because when the intent is good, so will the outcome be. Going along with the crowd doesn't break the mould, and Nola isn't a great fan of decoupaging premade ideas.
